Huellas in Spanish means footprints; we want you to leave them at every place you visit: a beach, a trail on the forest, a local town.
Our mission is to promote through the journeys we design, cultural and environmental awareness in our travellers and suppliers. As you leave your huellas, you will contribute with the purpose of real eco-tourism which is enjoy the wildlife and local culture of every area visited but also contribute to its conservation for future generations.
I am a Costa Rican who loves the natural beauty of this piece of land and want to share it with you. While spending the senior year 93-94 in Stow, Ohio USA as an exchange student of AFS Intercultural Programs I realized that Costa Rica was becoming a popular country due to its nature and conservation efforts.
After being an “ambassador” of Costa Rica I decided to study Tourism with an emphasis on travel agencies; I combined my university studies working as a travel consultant at the 1-800 line of the Costa Rican Tourist Board. After graduating I worked several years in a large tour operator as a trip designer gaining lots of experience and knowledge on the destination.
After finishing studies in Marketing and convinced that e-commerce was changing the business worldwide; I decided to start this project in order to help with my expertise in planning a memorable luxury Costa Rica vacation for couples, families and honeymooners based on their travel interests and needs.
